The Local Coordinator (LC) serves as a volunteer representative of the IW organization, responsible for operations in their assigned community or region. The LC operates under the direct supervision of the IW senior staff. The LC is tasked with developing a local leadership team, serving as a leader, mentor, and example. The LC will consistently accomplish all tasks required to effectively organize and execute events and opportunities to bring veterans together in their community. The LC is responsible for a variety of duties including task management, communication, accountability, networking, and fundraising.
